Summer Program 2024

Blossom will be offering four, two-week sessions of summer camp from June 3rd to July 26th.

Sessions will be Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Ages: 3 to 6 years.

Price: $450 per week

This year’s camp themes:

Session 1 (June 3 - June 14): Blossom Royal Court *New Theme!*: Medieval storytelling and acting. Children will sew a crown and scabbard out of felt, and create a wooden sword or dagger with which they can create an imaginary medieval world to explore together.

Session 2 (June 17 - June 28): Cosmic Explorers *New Theme!*: Discovering space through art, story, and craft. Children will create a wooden space ship and astronaut, and a papier mâché planet. We will 3D print pieces of the spaceship in the classroom to demonstrate how they work.

 Session 3 (July 1 - July 12): The Enchanted Fairy Garden: Finding magic in our natural world and exploring storytelling through puppetry. Children will create a magical fairy diorama with natural materials and create stories through shadow puppetry.

*FULL* Session 4 (July 15 - July 26): Stitches and Threads: An introduction to sewing felt stuffed animals. The children will choose, cut, and sew the animals of their choice. They will learn how to create a pattern from their own drawings.
